Anyone stayed in this?

We are thinking about booking for this year. Trip advisor reviews seem to be the majority very good with some poor.

We stayed in San Antonio last year and found all the nights etc we went to where on the other side, so I think the east side of the island will suit us best.
 
We stayed there 2 weeks last year. Really nice hotel for the price. Walking distance to space ushuaia etc and cheap taxi to Pacha and amnesia.

Food is nice and you can get 1 free entry into the "posh" restaurant upstairs, but need to ask.

Only thing and problem with most of pdb is that you get noise from planes landing and taking off, more so if taking off over pdb.

I wasn't bothered by it but some people might not. (Get good ear plugs?)
 
Thanks for the reply, and the tip on the posh nosh! my concern with a hotel Luke this is the food, you say it's nice? do they have a good selection? The pics on Trip Advisor, it looks good.
 
The food is good and reasonably variety, although like all hotels it repeats themes after a while.

If you take a short walk past ushuaia there are a fair few places to eat out that are not that expensive also.
 
nice hotel had a few refits since fiesta sold it years ago.rooms are very nice last time i looked at them.which ever way you book its only 5 mins from airport so get a taxi and not the transfer bus.8 euro to 10....like mention just planes but you get used to it....very low as well you feel you could just touch them.show cooking fresh cook meats fish etc.

Low level hotel all you need is on ground floor.Gate to get to beach.hotel backs on to beach.Bus 14 will take you to ibiza town.Walk it into pdb not far.Or carry on one day to ibiza town. I rate this hotel never gets the mentions it should do.You can book direct with hotel and other sites.find the best deal price.
 
Stayed here some years ago and liked it, we were on half board. the pool bar guys were not always observant about all inc wristbands and often didn't charge for drinks :) . One of the main things for me was that the hotel circles the pool area, this area was always pretty much full on; aerobics in the pool, kids rehearsing for the evening show etc, etc. The inward looking rooms got all that, the outward looking didn't, it was either, beach, field, road or further away to Salinas and airport (which I loved)
Of course it might all be different now (except the geography)
 
Stayed a week there in 2015. Nice enough food, spotlessly clean too. WiFi in the rooms wasn't up to much though. I didn't take any of the all inclusive drinks but there's a bar near the pool where you can pay for premium drinks... think a JD & coke was a couple of euros.

Short walk to the main attractions of pdb but very poorly lit walk at night meant that it didn't feel the safest walk so I ended up in taxis on way home from Space. Pool area looked busy in the day, although we went out everyday. Right next to beach house at the nicer end of pdb beach.
 
Stayed here in 2013. Met another spotlighter at the airport half way through my stay. She wanted to drop her suitcase off at my hotel as we wanted to head straight out into PDB. She was staying in San An.

The p#ick behind reception wouldn't even let her drop her suitcase in my room and use my bathroom for 5 mins.

I'd paid a single persons supplement so was almost paying for two people anyway. And she wasn't going to stay just use the bathroom quickly and freshen up.

Out of principle I paid the 90 euro charge for an extra guest so she could comfortably get ready.

Won't ever stay there again. Besides doesn't it rate itself as 4 star? Not a patch on the Garbi. A much nicer hotel in my opinion.

should of just made her walk straight through hotel.to your room.waited till desk was busy...
 
With other spotlight we were turned back from the staff when hanging with 2 girls housing there (one scottish Catherine Zeta jones look a like , met at murphys bar), bringing them back home...
Mate was very excited to get to the girls room :spank: , i had to keep him calm & finally we went to Pdb beach for a morning/recovery "bath" :D

i should plan ibz
  • opening from may 19th to June 5th
  • In Summer 2 weeks:July meeting Nobbie Q? unless august if spotlight vet Fusion ask me to join then as ibz aug 16 (i would like to keep these 10days for Closing but i have to follow my company rules, taking 10days off from early june to early september :twisted:)
  • 10 days or more for Closing
Let me know if we got somme common days in ibz ...

she had a crush on me :oops: & her blonde mate had a crush on my mate.
Unfortunately it was her last to second day in ibz , giving me her phone number but she had swap the last two digits (she was not 100% clean :p & i should give mine too) & we never get in touch :(
we plan Sa Trinxa but went there without those girls :lol:
i knew it 1 month later when we get in touch through fb as she was planning to go back to Ibz in Aug (met her in june)with me but it never happen..:confused:another story u may guess
