Hotel Brisa

Staying in the hotel Brisa when we go this year, just wondering what its like, how far it is from the sunset strip etc

Have been on a few websites but they all seem pretty vague, just saying its not far or its a walking distance etc

Anyone else staying/stayed there?
 
Sweet, had seen that briefly, im more looking for what peoples thoughts of it are etc, can read website reviews about places all day but want to know the thoughts of the people who will be going for similar as us (sun sea sand etc)
 
hmmm - not sure if anyone on here has stayed there - you could try posting in Open Chat under Clubbing - see what people say - tend to be different people posting in different sections - might be worth a try....
 
Stayed in the Brisa but this was back in 1997 so I'm sure it's changed loads! It was a '20's' hotel then so loads of reps round trying to rip you off with crappy excursions! The hotel was about 5 mins walk to the sunset strip and west end and was clean and basic! Think they have air con now which would have been nice then! Basically it's a good base, nothing glamourous but it will give you a bed and shower and that's all you need! Enjoy
 
Stayed here a couple of times,last summer was a slight disaster as a summer reunion was happening,can normally suffer this sort of stuff but had a lot of trouble with the crowd staying there.I,m a party girl but god the screaming banshee;s did my head in.Restaurant breakfast is a bit of toast or cereal,not up to much,but plent of places down the front of sanan which do a wicked fully english breakfast.
The trip is a 15 min walk depending on which way you go.Come out of hotel turn right,go straight up to the end of the road,turn left,keep going take any right turning and just keep going ahead this will bring you to any point to the bay of Sanatonio.
