hot or not hot

I love to eat jalapeño peppers o serrano peppers. Not that I eat hot with everything but I love to eat it now and then. Picante is very good

I wasn't much able to handle very spicy food until a couple of years ago (perhaps I've killed enough tastebuds with the smoking? )

Now, I love to cook with chili peppers. 8)

Hard to find spicy food here though... even the ethnic restaurants tone it down for the Russian palette, which is not very embracing of spiciness.

the best way to cope with spicy food I find is with a nice cup of tea

I like a fruity white wine with oriental spicy food, or a citrussy beer like corona for jalepenos etc :)

don't forgett to tell me what are you cooking in the end, I like to hear what people eats, the more fattening the best, I am sort of food masochist, as I cannot eat as much as I would like I like to hear what others eat.

Since I started watching what I eat and exercising I've been obsessed with food as well. I watch the Food Channel and all the infomercials for the Magic Bullet, Showtime Rotisserie and such, and I even cook more - you couldn't get me near a kitchen three years ago!

I adore blackened and cajun catfish, as well as cornish hen.

It's true... I've had many an occasion when a waitress warns me "careful. that dish is spicy" which tends to send me into hysterical laughter (right before I ask them to make it spicier)

Sushi is still the flavor of the millenium in Moskva. It's the fashion that won't go away. Still more sushi restaurants (or other restaurants with a sushi menu on the side) opening on a daily basis. I've now got about 15 sushi-serving establishments within a 10 minute walk of my apartment (no exaggeration!)

I love sushi, but it can work out pretty expensive here to actually get full from the revolving plates...

is it cheap in russia like it is in australia?

It's become such a mass product and so ubiquitous that, yes, it has become quite cheap. Competition is a good thing/

You can get a good sushi meal for less than 20 pounds. A light meal (a couple of maki rolls, for example) could run you as little as 6 pounds (plus drink).
