hostal roca in san antonio

has any one ever stayed here. i have read the reviews and i know it is basic but just wondered if anyone on here has stayed there before.
 
i know they r from people who have stayed there but i wanted to ask a few questions about the place and i carnt ask a review can i
 
well when i booked it it said on the site that some things may be payable locally.does that mean like the maids and i know it doesnt have a pool but can u go and use one at another hotel or something.i know some places dont have pools and they say you can use one at another hotel.
 
the type of thing that is payable locally is if you hire a safe. cleaning and linen change are all in with the price. as far as i know the hostal doesn't have an arrangement for clients to use another pool, however the beach is only 200 metres away
 
oh right just wasnt sure wat was payable locally. is it the next street along from the main strip of bars in the west end? it was very cheap when i booked it i just hope it is ok. seems to have good reviews. iv only ever stayed in the bay but was always getting taxi's so thought i'd try being a little closer this year
 
i know you said the beach is only 200m away but can you go and use other pools if you are not staying at that hotel.

You'll find most hotels are fine with that as long as you buy a drink from their bar. Which is fair enough wouldn't you say?
 
thats wat i was saying to my mate. he was saying we should of paid a bit extra and got a pool. but i was saying other hotels should be fine if you are buying drinks.
