just come back from a 2 week stay here, the staff are excellent, as was Lolo the main waiter, just call him naughty Lolo, he,ll love it,
It does say free wifi, but we didnt manage to get on the internet on our phones or laptop the whole time there, they have computers downstairs which are veeerryyyyy slow, its 50 cents for 7 1/2 mins,or 1 euro for 15 minutes, but you get a very annoying message that doesnt always disappear when you,ve got 2 mins left, telling you to put more money in,
you get the usual stinky smell from the bathrooms due to the sewers, and we noticed a LOT of coachroaches on the island this year, and some of them were huge
We were told by friends on the isle that the government usually put poison in the sewers to keep the population of them down, but this year they didnt do it and the sewers got over populated by them, which is why theres so many of the streets this year,
there was a nasty bug going around when we were there so a lot more people than normal had coughs and sneezes, and upset stomachs( unrelated to alcohol )
which knocked me off my feet and I slept more for nearly 2 days solid, wondered if it was down to these nasty creatures, but was told no, these are the least offensive bugs on the island,

but apart from that we had a great time as usual, roll on April

the Penguin do you mean,??? we did pop in and see Marith and Marco, once or twice :D:D:D
The Florencio was very clean ,the staff were brilliant, it was a lovely stay, the food was lovely, the pool was VERY cold, unfortunately we had a front room with a balcony, so next time we go,we,ll take very good earplugs,as the windows arent double glazed, and you hear every bit of steet noise even four floors up, like we were,
the shower wasnt very powerful, but we managed,
the electric did go off a couple of times a day for a few days, but it was only off for about 5 mins each time

ok thanks, that electricity thing can strike at any time, anywhere on the island.
And yeah it is noisey in the middle of san an !!

btw, check my profile for the correct spelling (in this case) of Pinguin....

oops my bad, just noticed I,d spelt it the british way, love your piccy, you hide from the camera just like Marco,:D
we had a birthday cake in there last week for our son n daughter in law, and the cake was shared out between the customers that night

we,ve been in San An before, but that street was the noisiest, lol,

I've got some decent snaps of M&M actually...

my pic was just a Marco couldn't make it that night...so for 1 nite only....

we,ve got a nice one of Marco bringing the cake out to our embarresed son n daughter in law, :D they share the same birth date which is handy, :D

I blame the reconditioned air on the flights to and from Ibiza as the main culprit for the coughs and colds people pick up on the Island. If one person has a virus most people on the plane will pick it up

Just got back this weekend and I have picked up an awful cold. There did seem to be a lot of people coughing on the plane home but I also think that you pick these bugs up easier after a week of "over-doing it".

As for the cockroaches, I can pleasantly report that we didn't see a single roach during our weeks stay! that's never happened before in nearly 20 visits to the island.

The virus that all those people were coughing out on the plane on the way home would have been waiting to be recirculated amongst the new passengers boarding the plane.

It takes 24-48 hours to devlope the sympthoms of a viral infection. Its spreads in the air. Sitting in a plane breathing other peoples infections is in my opinion a sure fire way of picking up bugs.
