Hi, I was wondering whether someone could assist me. We are avid lover of Ibiza and this is our first year of not going for a while, due to us getting married next year and just buying our first home.

My H2B is really keen on spending some time in ibiza for our honeymoon. can anyone tell me of some really luxourious places as in hotels we could look into? apart from pikes i cant really think of anywhere!

Wow that place looks stunning :D Have you stayed there, when did it open??

Caz how about the Hacienda, that's where I plan on spending my honeymoon if I'm ever made an honest woman

Never stayed there but heard nothing but glowing reports about it

I did read a while back they were opening a new 5* hotel in Talamanca but I didn't know it had opened yet, definitely one to investigate methinks.

the fenicia is in santa eulalia. the 5 star in 'talamanca' belongs to the casino

The Fenicia is by the river in Santa Eulalia. It was due to open 1st May this year but was still a building site but they managed to get it open about a month late.
Friends of mine are staying there at the moment and say it's brilliant - and so it should be for £400 a night bed and breakfast!
I did go and have a look around it in July and to be fair it does look a cut above anything else on the island - certainly better than Pikes or Hacienda.

Hello everyone,

Tony, the river you mentioned, is this not infact a dried up river bed & has it ever been filled with rainwater? I'll be staying in Cala Nova this september for two wks so i hope it does'nt rain too much otherwise this river might cause severe flooding  . Also ( just out of intrest ) do you happen to know the river's name? If indeed it has one? Cheer's:)

Todos y dia de la fiesta feliz aclamacion demasiado:D ?

er the name of the town is Santa Eulailia del riu so it might be a clue - to be honest, never thought about it but the river is always there for about two hundred yards or so.
I'm back at the Cala Nova from 22nd September - well very early on 23rd - if you are around for a drink in the bar.

Cheer's Tony,

don't worry about not knowing if the river has a name as it was just a query as like yourself i've never really given it any thought, i'll ask a spanish friend Juan, who own's a bar in Es-Cana or did back in 1986? It's possible that the bar no longer exist's owing to, maybe some new hotel developement's etc ?:x I'll be staying in Cala-Nova from the 2nd-16th september, so unfortunatly we won't beable too meet up for a chat & a drink, but don't worry as i'll leave a pint for you behind the bar for when you arrive. Thank's again

dia de fiesta feliz:D
