Hifi is a new twin-site event (the other happening in Newcastle) brought to you by the company behind Godskitchen, happening over the end-of-May Bank Holiday weekend. The Hampshire event is happening at Matterley Bowl (the site that Homelands has used on this date in previous years). The event hasn't been announced as yet, but some basic information is available now.
HiFi will have a capacity of 25,000, and will feature a number of arenas for live bands from both the rock and dance worlds coupled together with DJs from across the spectrum of electronic music. No line-up details are available as yet.
Both days will have five arenas. The Saturday will have: Live Arena, Godskitchen Arena, Movement DnB, Airbreaks Arena, and a House Arena. The Sunday will have: Live Arena, Godskitchen Arena, Polysexual Arena, Radio Soulwax, and a House Arena.
There will be on-site camping, and entertainment on both days will run from 2pm until 4am.
