I saw there's a charity relief gig this month in solidarity with the victims of the Valencia DANA, music mostly on the punk end of the spectrum, well worth supporting if you're anywhere near Sant Josep.

The Galician musician Oscar Avendaño (ex-Siniestro Total) already played at this festival in 2022 with The Bo Derek's (video below). Since then he's been back to Ibiza a few times, with the band and solo, and even presented here his best selling book Lo tengo en vinilo. Acclaimed German producer Hendrik Röver, who has also played a couple of times on the island with his band Los Deltonos, rounds up an excellent line-up!

 
The lyrics of their first two albums, previous to that song, are some of the funnier ever. In these times of political correctness and easily offended idiots, they'd be cancelled straight away!

Btw, lots of fun everytime ST played in Ibiza...

 
Where will there be live music in the period 13-21 April? Which smaller clubs, venues and bars will be the best bet?

Preferably San An area, and preferably not too late in the evening.

(Obviously at this time of year one can't be too choosy).

normally, can jordi on the road between ibiza town and sant josep has live music saturday daytime - I'm sure @McRackin knows more!

One of the things I missed during the pandemic was live music and experiencing concerts with other people.

Yes! At WOM on Easter Sunday (20th April) and also at Ipicenco outside of San Antonio towards Cala Salada on Wednesday 16th April. Posters to follow…
 
Two gigs coming up this week featuring the fantastic Theo Suess (Athens of the North, Warriors of the Dystotheque’s new L.A Dysto project…) singing & on acoustic guitar. Free entry for both. His last gig at Ipicenco Tapas Bar (my new favourite tapas bar!) was packed and received a great reaction.

Theo Suess is back at WOM this Sunday, 13:00-15:00 after his excellent debut there last week. This week, James Robinson & Friends will follow on the decks afterwards for sunny sunshine beats to accompany their delicious Sunday Roast and drinks.

Enjoy the new Beacon. Make sure you buy your beer from the Bristol Loaf bar on the ground floor though- it's significantly better than the stuff on the main bars upstairs

Thanks for the tip. Not a huge fan of the venue since the refurb but really looking forward to the gig.
