hiring a boat

Hello Peoples


Im thinking of hiring a boat for june this year for 2 days 1 night just cruising around the islands of Ibiza palma and fortemera , just cruising swimming , snorkeling . Im 29 male from Australia with around 5 years of boating experience . ive seen a package around the 2500 euros mark divide that by 6 not a bad price for freedom on the boat around the islands .

any advice that people that have done it ? any people that would love to join no experience needed , off course wicked beats safety and unforgettable expereince .

Sounds great.. But have only done day charters with skipper. Does the price include fuel ? If you intend to go to Majorca & Formentera I reckon you'll be in for a hefty fuel provision as engine running time will be a considerable share of the 2 days getting around :!: Not sure what type of boat you had in mind (Cat / motoryacht ?)

I'd stay round Ibiza & Formentera if it's just 2 days.. there are just so many great places to anchor and explore. If you want to sleep on shore overnight (it's not like there's nothing to do :)), it might work out considerably cheaper to hire for 2 x 1-day charters. Just a thought.
 
I agree, forget Majorca and stick to Ibiza and Formentera. With only 2 days planned you could find plenty of places to keep you busy and you don't want to spend most of your time motoring back and forth across the med.
 
Anyone know the best places to hire a boat w/skipper just for a day/night? I know it will be pretty expensive but theres going to be 5 of us to share the costs :)

thank you for all ur answers . will take it on board . the whole idea is to do it alone and really just cruise around . i know a skipper would be good but i just want to drive :) .

im seeing if i can maybe push this out to a 2 week around the med . still plenty of time , just want to feel for a response .

please any other ideas please keep them coming thank you guys :)

dont forget costings of fuel and crew ..... try to get a price or estimated price before hand . enjoy will be awesome post on here how u go if u dont mind :)
