I Loved my first Ibiza experience will be definately going back next summer but I just have a few observations I want to make to see if anyone else felt the same....
My first club night was at Manumission and was a little dissapointed at the lack of atmosphere in the club and when fisherspooner came on every hour or so everybody just stopped dancing and watched the stage and in my humble opinion it killed any vibe that was in the place, I got talking to a few people that went to manumission every year and they said it was poor to say the least this year also I got started on by a group of italian or spanish lads as I was walking past them to be fair they were pretty out of it and so was I but that was the first time I had experienced any sort of aggression in all my years of clubbing...
I went to cream at amnesia on the thursday and was blown away by the sound system but again felt the club lacked any proper rave/club atmosphere and was well overcrowded to the point it was hard to dance or move about in the club , so again it was a bit of a let down...
My girlfriend and I decided to explore the island a bit more and take in the sunsets and visit a few beaches and have some nice meals which was amazing and really enjoyed it...
We decided to give the clubbing scene one last try in our second week even though we were a bit jadded by the big clubs so on thursday we opted for eden because we where based in San An bay and we got some free tickets . This was the best night for us the atmosphere took me back to my early clubbing days everybody was well up for it the atmosphere was amazing the drinks were cheaper there was no overcrowding and it was a really friendly crowd best night by far....
I mean don't get me wrong I am glad I went to privelige and amnesia but I feel no need to return to those clubs anytime soon as I found the whole experience there very cynical and overhyped.....
We are going back to ibiza next summer but on the other side around playa den bossa hopefully , I want to see Space , bora bora, St Trixia and lastly pacha .....
My head is still full of tunes I don't know the name to and my memories are wicked can't wait until next year.........
