Hey guy's...

Fergie, I had glandular fever and it does affect your liver (no chocolate or alcohol) and most people threat like it isn't dangerous but the liver (and the thing which stores blood) is swollen and if you do sport it might pop (so no sports for 6 months). You feel dead tired and awfull. I was up within the week but i haven't been 100% since i had it. It just keeps sitting in your body. (Most professional sporters don't come back at full potential after it). As said before most people threat it as a minor disease but it is actually quite dangerous if not followed seriously. I had a girlfriend who had it and she fell back into it after about 2-3 months (happenned 3-4 times). Just take it easy for some months reaaaaaaal easy no sports, a lot of sleep or it will hit you again and again. Btw kissing other people: I tried to give it to the current at that time but she never got it. But if your immune system is down/weak (like after an Ibiza-trip) you will catch it. See rest and no alcohol and chocolate.

Thanks for the advice guys

It hit really bad last night. Was feeling completely normal again, but woke up after an hour of being asleep really ill. Spent the whole night throwing up, couldnt stop shivering then going really hot, and my head aches (and I'm not allowed pracetemol)

Have been in bed all day, and can hardly move. Have an exam on Wednesday, but looks like I'll have to miss it :? Must I have picked it up from kissing someone?Cause I've been a good boy and only kissed my girfriend over the last 4 months?

Steve...see you in Ibiza again :P ;)

Could have been when you got some spit from someone else ... for example drinking from someones glass. I had it when i was baptised with my fraternaty (passing food with our mouths) normally it kicks in 2 weeks after you got it

Could be that then, casue I was out nearly every night over xmas so could have picked it up in a club

Feel so crap jus now, just hope it gets better quick

Good news that its not something to do with you caining it but Glandular Fever is still pretty bad so do make sure you chill out for a while, glad its nothing serious! ;)

It's passed on the same as any virus via coughing, sneezing, or sharing drinks etc, not just kissing. Fergie you really need to take it easy, take it very seriously. My mum developed ME (chronic fatigue) from glandular fever and had to give up work for years and she thinks if she had let herself recover more she might have been ok. I'm not saying this will happen to you, the majority of people with glandular fever don't develope ME but better to be safe than sorry. Take care of yourself.

Gonna have to find new ways to enjoy myself rather than going out for a bit :?

Cheers :D
