Just a quick update:

went to the docs yesterday...and got rushed straight to hospital :? 8O Apparently they'd been calling all day to get me in (but my numbers changed now) Cue me being very scared :?

Had to stay in overnight, and have had every test under the sun. Turns out it was a viral problem like Glandular Fever, that went on to attack my liver :?

Just got discharged an hour ago, and luckily it means the problems were nothing to do with caining it too much...thank god :D It hould just run its course now :D :D

Here's one relieved Fergie ;)

Brilliant news, having said that, Glandular fever can really take it out of you in the long run, so just for a treat, why not give your body a bit of a rest for a few weeks........ :D

Thanks guy's, its a big relief as I thought it was definitely going to be due to alcohol and drugs etc :?

Taking a break till the middle of feb at least

Still, found it surprising when the doctor said it cant be alcohol related cause I was too young, even though I told her the quantities I used to drink...I thought liver cirrosis among young folk was on the up?

thats bollocks cos my brother had an alcohol related illness when he was 21.

Cheers guys :D

Its actaully made me think about how much crap I put in myself. The cigs are out, and definitely cuting back on drink (have actually been going off drink for the past year, and now don't actually like the taste of any...nice)

Got lots of revision still do to though for exams

Nice one (in a way). May I take this opportunity to echo the sentiments of my associates on this interweb forumboard and offer the suggestion that you might take a sabbatical from the rigours of your hectic social life?

Good to hear ur gonna be OK chick, have had glandular fever myself and it really zaps your immune system and it took me months and months to get back on par again- take it easy and enjoy some 'fergie time' ;)

what other physical syptoms did you have? Apparently its pretty rare to affect the liver.

Oh, and doesnt it mean I can't kiss or it'll spread? ;)

Well i had a month of college hit me really bad- had the usually like sore throat, white lumps on the back of my throat etc
I was just so tired i wasnt out of bed for weeks- had no energy, couldnt eat, sweated my way through 2 sets of sheets a day (nice!) and lost two stone! Was a bit of a mess really!
To make matters worse i had an allergy to the infection so i came up in this awful blotchy rash and the skin on my hands peeled!Bit of a monster really!
But as i say, i had it pretty bad while a friend of mine had it and was back to normal in two weeks so its not all bad!
They do call it the kissing disease so you be careful Mr!!! ;) I was with my fella at the time and he didnt get it though!

sick boy

Hey fergie....is there any chance you might make it back to Ibiza this year lol

btw don't worry about the drink....I'm still alive. As for the liver...when it gets really bad they'll give you steroids.
