hey girls, i need help!!

hi, me and 3 other girlies are going to san antonio on 7th june for 2weeks. And were really confused of what to wear at night! i dont wanna take things and me be overdressed, and same goes the other way around. do people wear different things when they at westend compare to the big clubs.


Please help as i really wanna go shopping!!:lol:

Hi Amy,

I'm a bit of an unreconstructed caveman when it comes to fashion (jeans and t-shirts wherever I am), but you can get away with just about anything anywhere. The West End tends to be a bit more like an English town on a summer's night, but for the clubs anything goes. Try a search for each of the clubs / nights and have a look at what the clientele are wearing (or try DSI for pics - be warned, some of their pics WILL include dangerously large sunglasses).

Hey!

We were really confused last year too! But went for dressy skirts n shorts, and that kinda stuff...not as in posh dressy, more clubbing dressy! But you can get away with pretty much anything!
 
Dress sense

Just wear what you would normally wear on a night out at home.To be honest anything goes.
Enjoy your stay.8)
 
Totty is right - we went last year and I wore skirts and dresses. Through the day I just had shorts/mini skirt and vest top over my bikini and the night we just went a bit more dressy. There is no certain dress code over there - its just whatever you want, noone judges you if your really dressed or just in shorts and top with flip flops!! That's the best things about it

Hope you have a lush time - I was over there for the first time in Sept 07 and loved it so much I booked up for 2008 in October!! LOL!! Going back over 13-24 Sept 08 and cant wait!!

i wasnt insinuating that you were ugly just taking the mick out of some girls in ibiza mostly in pacha that were huge ridiculous designer glasses

I think that all the girls are right: skirts, dresess and flip flops are ok and so do the huge sunglasses. But I have to say that the skirts MUST be very short and all the look sexy. Otherwise (like me) with a skirt by the knees, comparing with the girls on the island, i felt a bit like my grandmother!! : )

Also i recomed you to bring a light jacket if you are going to go clubbing up to closing.

I saw difference in San An compared to some of the clubs further away.

For example Pacha seemed very classy to me, lots of beautiful people in expensive clothes.

San Antonio - just like any other clubbing island, anything goes.

We have been twice and both times we just wore something casual with flip flops, or a nice top and skirt/shorts. Nothing too OTT. Its too hot to be worrying about what you look like!
 
thanks everyone, large sunglasses it is then!! ive jus got lots of skirts,shorts,little dresses,and a bunch of fancy dress outfits incase we feel abit outrageous!!
