Help with Wedding Venues?

Hi

I’m new to the board but reckon this is my best bet for recommendations so hope you’re willing to help me out!

I’m trying to organise a wedding in Ibiza for July 2009. I need a venue that has accommodation onsite but doesn’t require us to hire out the full premises for several days. We need the accommodation as we have a 2 year old who will need naps during the day.

I’ve emailed Atzaro and Hacienda but no reply from either yet. I’m not sure of their policy on the amount of days we’d need to hire for. If anyone knows more on either venue please let me know! Also an idea of cost would be good!

Hiring a villa isn’t really an option as our families want to do their own thing.

I love places like Can Gal and most of the other Agroturismo Hotels on the island but they all seem to need us to rent for minimum of 4 days.. which make it way too expensive when you add the cost of food and drink.

We are looking at a guest list of about 50 people and a budget of around £5000 for venue, food and drink for the day.

I’ve done a search but have been unable to come up with a venue that’s “specific to the requirements!” ;)

Hope someone out there can help!

P.S. I’m hoping to get out there in May to check some places out but want to have a short list before we go! x

 
Don't give up on Atzaro. Fantastic venue, but they are closed for the winter and the owners are probably not even on the island. Ibiza is closed right now and won't be re-opening until May.
 
you have to hire the whole of atzaro (all the rooms!!) for about 3 days i think .........which would blow your £5k budget.
 
Did a sound system hire @ apartments petunia for about what I think you may be looking for last year, around 50 ish guest`s approx age 30`s, some there only for the wedding, some stayed on after, wedding dinner around the pool area, very well presented from what I saw of it, they kept the sounds for 3 days so they could play whatever they wanted round the pool after the day, worth a look round when you are over, very nice place,

Thats disappointing to hear. I love the look of this venue. There doesn't seem to be any mention on there website about exclusive hire. Hopefully they get back to me when they open again.

I will check out Petunia too. Thanks for the rec.

If Barbie (or anyone else who has organised a wedding in Ibiza) is reading please let me know if you have ay other recs.

Hi,

There is a place called ca na putxa. I know the owner and they allow small private events up to 50 people, and the prices are very reasonable.

I have sent out an SOS to Barbie, she should be along shortly with her pearls of wisdom :lol:

Although they didn't hire out a venue with accomodation so not sure whether she will be able to help you on that front...
