Help! Where to stay??

Any advice here would be great! My wife and I are coming from Canada this May- I'm trying to find a good area/ hotel/resort to stay in. We're looking for a mellow stay- no partying at all as she is expecting (I may have a few drinks) Looking for a chill beach, and boutique style digs (ala hip hotels/ design hotels.com) with good food options not far away. We are both 30 and don't want to find ourselves amongst a bunch of screaming children (plenty of that to come) and this time around wouldn't enjoy a big party scene.

hmmm are you sure you are coming to the right island? i would save it till you have the baby and then come and party! seriously though there are great parts to chill in ibiza but most of the lux hotels are still quite party oriented (el hotel and the ones in ibiza town) apart from the agro tourism hotels which are more laid back.

how about renting a villa there are some lovely ones really really chilled out near cala dhort i did this last year. you will need a hire car though.
