help please

booked for montemar apts calalonga when booked we was told 3 star above , got letter today now 2 star can anyone tell me who has bin wether it is 2 or 3 looks great but with 4 kids it wasnt cheap, also i paid for 3 star, why do they just change, :? :?
 
Did you book them direct or through a travel agents? Seeing as they were not cheap I am guessing you used the latter, in which case I would definately go back and take it up with them telling them no matter what they say, you paid for three star. Whats the worst that can happen? Nothing. Whats the best? A discount possibly?

There is probably not much difference, I guess it just depends who rates the hotel each time round. Still, worth taking up though.

Hi Susan - I stayed there a few years ago - I thought they were really good value - theyre really big apartments with a huge sun terrace (almost as big as the inside) with tables chairs sun canopy etc - surprised they have been changed to a 2* to be honest....
 
thanks both of you, bin on to travel agent say i can change if i want but to be honest i dont ,usually get it right when i pick, just a bit peed off that i paid for 3 star but everyone is different and i am pretty easy going as long as i have a good time and its safe for the kids wot the hell, not had a bad report on this place at all so thanks for the help and if anyone goes before me let me no please. :D :D :D :D
 
Ahh Susan, don't worry ... You liked it when you booked it ... and it looked good to ALL your family ... so don't worry.
 
If I recall correctly, the appartments are on the right of the beach as you look at the sea almost on the beach. I am going to be on the island on 3rd May so if you want a photo ( applies to anyone going anywhere on the island ) which McRackin hasn't provided, then go to my site below and email me and I will do my best for you.
