I know it’s a terrible thing to say, being British myself, but I really don’t want to be near a load of gobby British tourist when I go on holiday!!! Should I just forget Ibiza altogether or is there an escape? I want to spend a couple of days crazy clubbing but then want to slink off somewhere for some peace and quiet! It needs to be not too far from the clubs or airport and by the sea! The general idea is as few kids as possiable and no one selling pizza and chips, you get the idea! Any one got and tips for locations/ apartments?
Thanks oh wise and knowledgeable ones!!

Difficult to answer really but as the island is only 45x25kms you are only about 30 minutes max from the clubs and only a few minutes from a beach where ever you are based.
I too avoid the Brits if at all possible but it is easy to do e.g. I stay in Es Cana where the main beach is scruffy and noisy in peak season as the Brits take it over but Cala Nova beach in Es Cana and Cala Martina / S'Argamassa are within walking distance and are almost devoid of Brits.
You certainly won't find fast food outlets in abundance down south in Cala d'Hort / Cala Carbo or Cala Vadella although I prefer more towards the north with Santa Eulalia with plenty of restaurants but find Cala San Vicente or Puerto San Miguel or Cala Llonga too quiet.
You pays yer money and takes yer choice ;)

I've found that you always can escape to some where quiet I stop in San An in the bay. Close enough to walk in to the west end but still find small spanish bars and restaurant and as for quiet beaches there not hard to find Ibiza is full of little coves with hidden beaches. Remember your hotel is just some where to rest your head. Get out and see the island.
