Hi everybody!
:D
I need your help...
I am planning to come to Ibiza in July and I have some questions....

1. Is Figueretas a good place to stay? I mean, are there restaurants, bars, supermarkets, things to do in the evenings?

2. Is Figueretas a quiet place compared to Playa Den Bossa?

3. Is there the possibility to find a quiet place to sleep in Playa Den Bossa?

4. What about joining Ibiza town or Playa Den Bossa leaving from Figueretas? A scooter is better than a car? Is it easy to park in Figueretas?

I would like to visit also the northern part of the island (and other beaches) so I won't stay in the beach in front of the hotel/apartment....

I just need a good position for an accommodation (without hearing loud music all night long...) with the possibility to reach in a few minutes restaurants&bars...

Can you help me?
Thank you!
Ka

figueretas

heya
ive stayed in figueretas the last 5 years, worked in playa den bossa last year and its a great place to stay, san an is a bit much, theres lots to do in both resorts, altho figueretas is a bit quieter, but theres still lots of bars, restaurants and cafes, and its also only a 15 min walk intot he centre of ibiza town from figueretas compared with half an hour from bossa, or around 10 mins by car...as far as accom is concerned not too sure, am hoping to find a place myself this july...but lots of places around both resorts, bit cheaper in figueretas, a cheap hostel there too called Bimbi...good luck!

We're staying in Maritimo this year in Figuretas, so fingers crossed it will be ok.

How long would you say it would take to walk from Maritimo to say, Bora Bora? Is there a beach path that goes directly there?

Just dont want to be having to get cabs every day :?

We've always walked from Es Vive and it's about 20 mins to Bora Bora, you can just walk right by the beach Bec. Maritimo is a bit further round so I'd say allow 30 mins.

It's quite a nice walk as well, if you go along the beach. Great for toning you legs!

Oh that's not too bad then :) And a 30min walk when you're 8O is actually like a 10min walk when you're :?

I swear tho that road from Figureutes to PDB changes in distance 8O  Somtimes you seem to do it in no-time and then other times (normally when you're destroyed 8O ) it feels like the longest marathon in the world 8O

Hehe, last year you know we met you @ Manumission Carry On and then me and Tom sat down Bora Bora for a bit and I was so destroyed I didn't think I would ever be able to move again and Tom thought it would be a good idea for us to walk to Es Vive to completely finish ourselves off 8O  I was like 'errrr no I don't think, taxi boy' ;)

Yeah it's midway between PDB and Figueretes so perfect location ;)

That was the good thing about being in Jet last year, we hardly ever had to walk anywhere. This year I can see us doing the round trip from Maritimo, past Es Vive, to Bora Bora, Space etc about 3 times a day 8O

Oh well at least all that walking will be burning off some calories

I like walking in Ibiza tho, we walk all over the place. One good thing by being closer to PDB is for Space sessions/Space aftershow sessions cos you can have quick change at your apartment.

We've stayed in Sirines Jabeque, which is a couple of blocks from Es Vive and pretty cheap, given an apartment with air con! :D Es Vive also useful to hang around at for a taxi. However, its a lot quieter than Es Vive, so you can even get some disco naps in. :D
