Help Me Pick A Hotel..... (Ibiza First Timer Here!!)

Me and a mate are going on holiday to ibiza from 9.8.06 to 26.8.06. This is for 15 nights.

This is our first time going to Ibiza and wanted to make our stay most enjoyable.

I've been put in charge of hotel from my mate and this is what I've narrowed it down to.

GRAN SOL HOTEL **
Price: $ 1,538.20
769.10 / person
51.27 per night per person

HOSTAL MARI **
Price: $ 1,093.81
546.905 / person
36.46 / per night per person

Hotel Brisa **
Reviews:
Price: 1,196.40
598.20 / person
39.88 per night per person

FLORENCIO HOSTAL **
Price: $ 1,328.93
664.465 / person
44.29 / per night per person

I'm favoring GRAN SOL of what amenities they have etc... I also put the per night per person rate because if, for$10 more per person, we get a better room, we are willing to do that.

Me and my friend want to be where the action is, but able to get some sort of rest when we get back to the hotel so AC is utmost importance to us. Just the normal things like clean shower, clean, sheets etc which I think is pretty much standard for most travelers.

From whets listed above or any suggestions you guys might have, what would the best place to stay?

Are these all in San An?

Initial reaction is Gran Sol - I was looking to stay there last trip, but we ended up staying in Bossa.

Not sure the location of the others, but I have heard good things of Gran Sol.

I'm almost 100% gurantee im booking gran sol. ANy other feedback?
 
Hotels in Ibiza

I went to Ibiza for the first time last year & stayed at the Hotel Abrat twice..8)
This Hotel It's right on the beach an next door to Kanya & Coastline were we spent most of the days round the pool.... only bout 5 min walk to Cafe Mambo's across the beach...... The west end & egg is not more than 10 mins walk away... we fly on 11th & 12th Aug til 20th Aug..... For 8 nights HB were paying £270 each(2 sharing)£250(3 sharing)...... altogether there's about 90 of us goin from Leeds this time.... Cant wait............. :lol: 8)
 
Nope it's def 90 of us & more keep adding every week..... we all goto Stinkys on sunday were Dean Carey & graham dixon have an event called Back2mine..... people come from Manchester York Derby..... it's a great all day event..... They have guest DJ's every week which inc... Levi Lewis... Danny Bond... Frosty... Paul Rough.. Browny.. Mark Howarth(who brought out mi fav remix Bev knight keep the fire buring..) Jamie fisher(everybody needs a friend,drinkin chardony)....Mark leaf... Andras.. Jordan & Beany.... loadz more....

Does the Grand Sol have A/C - if its the place we stayed across from Blau Park - you could only hire standing fans - the rooms did not have A/C....

..... just a thought...... ;)

according to the website, yes they do have A/C

Well whatever you book you will have such a fantastic time - its an amazing Island for clubbing/sightseeing whatever floats your boat..... Enjoy, there's nothing like the first visit and then it gets better on each visit thereafter....8)
