hi guys, 6 of us are heading out to ibiza on the 26th august however none of us have ever been, if anyone has any advice on clubbing, roughly how much money to take (as ive heard august is the most expensive time to go), etc it would be very much apriciated! has anyone ever stayed in the bahai apartments in san an bay? and also is it still hot this late in august?! xx

It's still very hot that late in August; it is the most expensive time (you'll need about £150 per day for food/drink/taxis/tickets if you want to do a club every day - although you can save money by going to free places like Underground, Bora Bora, etc). Never stayed in Bahia, so I can't give you any advice about that I'm afraid. Have a good time

Well ive not been before but my mates have and they recon to take £2000 for two weeks to be sure so thats what im aiming for because you apparently spend alot of money on cabs.

As for clubs ill have to ask my mate again and let you know i cant remember what he said off the top of my head.

I suppose it depends on what sort of music you are all into aswell?

I stayed in Bahia a couple of times a few years ago when it was first built (about 2000) - I really liked everything about it - nice pool area and beach outside, food was decent in you want to eat there and a nice crowd of people.

thanks for the help! £150 is roughly the amount we are intending to take for each day, although ive heard the smaller bars and clubs are just as good as the biggers ones and alot less money which is a bonus. if anyone has any more advice feel free to msg me on myspace.com/anna_pinkfaries :) x

When I last went (3 yrs ago, heading back in 2 days!) I ended up spending about £100 a day, went to a 'big club' most nights. Buying some cheap drinks from a shop and having a few in your room to warm up before heading out is definitely recommended tho, as it's about 5x cheaper ;-)

Enjoy!

PS Stayed in Bahia 6 years ago, really lovely place with wicked aircon, and 'not too far but not too close' location

Bahia

THE BAHIA IS IN A GREAT LOCATION, if you head around the bay for food and a few drinks early evening . average 3 course meal only 10 euros and most bars are only 2 euros a bottle of beer or 5 euros a pint of cocktail..loads of bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk, then 10 minutes other direction for west end and eden and es paradis clubs.. no taxis needed:lol:
