Help for 1st timer!!!

I'm making plans for my first trip to Ibiza and am looking for some help on where to stay. I am not concerned about hotels so much, but what part of the island to stay at. Where are the majority of the top clubs, bars and parties? Are they in Ibiza Town, San Antonio or Playa? What is the better place to stay? Is it easy to stay in say San Antonio and then go over to Ibiza town to party?

I am going over from 28 July until 11 Aug. I may go over a 2nd time but that would be earlier in June for a quick weekend getaway.

Any help would be appreciated, as I am just counting down the days until the parties begin!

You are likely to get a dozen different answers on where to stay as everyone has their favourite, additionally budget plays a part in the final decision.

Personaly I love Figueretas. It is within a gorgeous beach walk to Bora Bora / PDB & Space.

Going the other way, it's a fantastic walk into Ibiza Town.

Es Vive is a very popular place to stay in Figueretas as the people staying there all share the same passion for the music & clubs.

Thanks for the info.. that place looks amazing.

I am acutally now considering renting a villa, as my crew has now swelled up to 5 of us. Can you suggest any websites or agencies that can assist? The budget I would be looking for would be around 4000-4500 Euro for the villa. I think that is managable, but not sure what to expect for prices.
