Help choosing between these apartments...

..Hola :)

After this weekend heatwave which gave me one uber heat headache I decided that I can't stay in my usual place but will have to spend a bit more money on getting an air conditioned place when I go over next month..

Looking at the hotels on the Spotlight site Ive seen the following

Grand Sol - Air Con, Freshwater pool and 24hr reception

Brisa - Doesnt give away much - does this have air con?

Mari - Air Con and 24 hr reception

Roca - Does this have air con?

I basically just need something thats cheap for a single person on their own and that has air con.. I have chose San An again  as it is cheap.

Have read the reviews..Opinions from anyone on here that have stayed would be greatful.

I'm edging towards the Mari so far.. Does anyone have a contact email for them?

Thanks :D

Does it have to be San An Nishy??

Playa Sol is Figuretes is REALLY cheap but decent enough place to stay with air con etc.

I was thinking San An as it was cheap hon and I could get to everywhere easy from there.

Does the Playa Sol have a website.. Its probably on myspace actually.. every man and his dog is on that now! x

If you dont mind staying in the bay, the riviera apartments are quality, - aircon ... 24 hr reception, beach over the road, 24hr supermacardo over the road, pool etc, the works - and its cheap!

It's on expedia.

Im not sure if the single rooms in brisa do have aircon? I had a single room 2 years ago and it didnt have it. I stopped in brisa again last year but in a twin and we did have it, but at an extra cost. I never noticed the prices behind reception 2 years ago so this aircon may be a new thing thats been installed since my first trip. You'll have to give them a buzz.

As far as the hotel goes its lovely, very clean, rooms are basic but nice and the food and drink available is great. The pools a pretty good size and lots of sunloungers, ive been to a few of my friends hotels before and struggled to get a lounger unless we got out really early.

I shall be in brisa again this year too, got a pretty good deal again so i thought it would be rude not to :)

I can recommend Gran Sol. Very clean, good location - a stones throw from Kanya & 10min walk to Mambos etc. but still nice & quiet. Staff are friendly. Mix of age groups too.
For the price I think it's excellant. Will be staying there again in Sept.
