Another top Hed Kandi night. Considering January is normally a quiet month, there was a good up for it crowd. I think all the winter cob webs have been totally blown away. Tunes of the night, Put Em High as it is No1 in the club charts, but my fav has to be a cheeky little rework of Ce Ce Peniston's Finally as produced by Matt Collins. It got 3 plays and every time, the crowd went for it nig time. Well done matt.
The rest of the music was a little bit more dirty than i have heard hed kandi play before and it was top
If this is just the start of a new Hed Kandi year, then i can not wait for the following months

Yup - was a top night. Stoney in particular was on form, I thought. Busy, but not unbearably so - it was pretty much one in, one out by 11.45. (Seemed that every regular from The Cross was in there.)

One thing though for the ladies though - give up the trilbies (and similar). They looked quite good when dotted around clubs a while ago, but on every second female throughout a whole club they just look silly. And, while some high street clothes are just fine, the Top Shop trilbys that were in abundance on Sat just look cheap and nasty.

'Put 'em high' was quality the first time - not sure I ever agree with twice in a night for any tune. To be fair, it went down with the dancefloor, so who am I to judge?

Always good to see Matt - could tell that even at this little warm up gig he was feeling the pressure of the big event next Friday :!: ;) Only joking, of course, the big fella was, as ever, on top form and down to earth as you like. Being serious about what you do, whilst not taking yourself too seriously, always scores marks in my book.

Joey - good to meet you, see you again Friday. ('Buckley's Angels' - the full size pack, rather than the reduced number you meet briefly on Sat will be in attendance - oh yes, I saw your eyes light up when I told a responded that none of them were 'the current' :lol: ).

me too! saw a few peeps from cross and some who'll be coming to cross next time for serious.

hmm,have to agree. i was wearing the ole trilby from spring last year due to my mate hatmandan being the daddy of them.havent worn hats for ages tho as i feel too many people wear them now,however i did don a turquiose flat cap sat to be a bit different,shant be wearing any again tho till it dies down. :confused:
