Hi all

Do you know if Hed Kandi have released their annual ibiza summer sampler freebie this year on the island?

Or is it that now Hed Kandi are becoming more commercialised perhaps they are too tight to give away a few thousand freebie cds?

Any other freebie samplers spotted on the island?

the free pacha magazine comes this month with a defected cd mixed by sandy rivera with 11 tuuuuunes so make sure you pick it up!! :P

Regarding the original post - I've just got my copy of beach house 0405 thru - and the insert says - 'FORTHCOMING - AUGUST - HED KANDI SUMMER 2005 SAMPLER'.......which usually is repackaged as the ibiza freebie (I know coz last 2 yrs i bought the sampler - the n got the freebie in BASE or the EL DIVINO SHOP free as well)

Yeh i love defected, and yes me and the missis arrive 8th august for 2 weeks, and it cant come soon enough!!!!

Danny Krivit at Defected 9th August is HIGH on my hitlist, as are Pure Pacha, F**k Me Im Famous, Radio 1 special @ Space and even a little bit of Hed Kandi thrown in at El Dinino :twisted:

Yeh ive just got Beach House 0405 and it mentions the summer sampler due out in august, which is rather late isnt it?? Maybe they wont do the ibiza freebie version of it this year??

Also sad to see Mark Doyle's last write up in the Beach House release......
 
....i know - end of an era - made me feel quite funny reading it - he's always been the life & soul of Kandi nights I've been to - despite any criticisms made of him - i think he'll be missed.........but Kandi sparkles on - and at least we get the Tokyo Project to look forward to as well?!?! :roll:

is out now and it will be available during all the month..........



(cover dedicated to the new pacha new york with a picture of the owners hugo urgell, erick morillo and panchi urgell in a pool accompanied by two chicks :P )
 
Hopefully pacha NYC will turn out better than Pacha London which is shit!
 
the second issue of DJmag (mig aug/oct) comes with a free azuli anthems cd!! :o

not all the copies come with the cd though: most places got like 400 WITHOUT and 100 WITH and even some places have the copies WITH cd hidden for their regular customers and friends..........

And the Hed Kandi Ibiza Summer Sampler came out while I was over there. Though they were only being given away with tickets purchased for their El Divino night, so they are being well tight this year compared to the last few where they were being given away willy nilly! Come on Hed Kandi im sure you can afford it!!

Needless to say I got my copy tho! :P
