We had a fantastic night at Hed Kandi on 5th August. Was anyone else there? Tune after tune and a lovely atmosphere once the crowds cleared a bit. The DJs put on a real show. A beautiful venue with lots of smiles and dancing. Being able to see outdoors from indoors is really nice, especialy that view of the sun coming up over Ibiza town. We got there by the free party bus from Savannah in San An which was an experience in itself!
Afterwards we took an illegal taxi with two lovely Ibizans who were very friendly and chilled to Space but found it a bit of a downer after our lovely night. They told us the 15E flyers now cost 20E, took my camera off me and the music didn't get going on the terrace for ages. Inside was a bit mean and moody for our loved up Hed Kandi vibe. When a smug barman took my drink away before I finshed it and looked at me with a grin and his arms crossed waiting for me to buy another we decided it was time to leave. Probably a good thing really - we'd been on the go for a while :)

where did you get those flyers from - i've never seen cheap flyers/free wristbands for space after kandi - but heard plenty of talk about them.... any tips?

We got very lucky and got it outside Space from someone who didn't want it. Feel bad now for moaning that they charged us 5E more:oops: No I don't - it said 15E at that's what it should have been!

yeah i was at hed-kandi and it was best night in long time was there 9th of sep after there, me & 2 mates got taxi thinkin dc-10 was on out but taxi man filled us in about 100mt from dc-10 that it dont open sunday's very nice of him...when he had clocked up the meter but went on too space saw no flyer's doors were closed for about for bout 30 min then had to pay the 55euro's.....but thought there was a great vibe there place was rockin but left early enough was going too boro boro later and needed bit of sleep a week just isn't enough

As a great lover of Hed Kandi we took ourselves there on 16th september and ther place was bunged right out. we finally got up the stairs to the toilets and then when we were done the bouncer outside them tried to push me and my friend down the stairs. my friend is a tiny wee thing and there were mountains of people queued to get down the stairs but he insisted on shoving us into them. that made our mood wuite sour, but we found our way to the wee door way as you come in and managed to have a wee dance there, loved the tunes but it was my first time in El Divino and i was so disappointed not to get to see much of the place, just the toilet and the front door. We ended up leaving after a couple of hours cos we couldnt take the packedness and had no idea where to go for a drink.
Seemed to be a lovely club from what i saw, tehy just coulda done with less people crammed in.
Went to Space the next night, really wanted to go in the afternoon love the dancing in the sunshine but my lazy boyfriend wouldnt get outta bed so we went for the night time for jeff mills and felix da housecat, was a quality wee night. I love Space!!

I went on the 16th as well, and I agree that the place was unbelievably rammed. The toilet queue was ridiculous and if had been pushed downstairs by a bouncer, I would have been very upset too. As it was, a woman in stilletoes stamped on one of my feet and, I later discovered, broke part of my toenail off!! The bars were incredibly busy earlier on in the night, although they cleared later, but one of the bar staff tried to short change me by 10 euros at one point (as if 16 euros aren't enough for two small bottles of water). Fortunately I got the money back.

Notwithstanding all of this, I did have a really great night. The atmosphere and the music were both excellent and the club is a beautiful venue. The DJ really wound the crowd up with Put Your Hands Up for Detroit and I had an extremely fun, quite mental night there in the end.:D
