Have I made a mistake....any info much appreciated!

Hi...
I am an Ibiza virgin, wanted to go for years and had a nightmare trying to get booked this year but I'm finally going:D
I'll be staying at the Zodiac apartments in San An bay with my boyfriend(also an Ibiza virgin), but we have friends staying at the Marian Apartments in San An. Does anyone know what the Zodiac is like to stay in and how long will it take us to get to San An to our friends?
I know its not the best situation that we couldn't all stay together but I was so excited to be finally going that I went ahead and booked, however the Zodiac seems to be very far away.Have I made a mistake?:(

We're going for the closing parties in September:D
 
Don't worry about it, you won't spend alot of time in the hotel anyway!! If you meet at Itica or Bar M area every day / night it's in the middle of it all! or you could get the boat over to San An etc. It looks like Zodiac is quite far up in the bay but I hear there's a boat etc or a nice refrshing walK! I'm staying In Osiris a bit closer and it takes 10/15mins from there to walk to San An :)

and if you think about the amount of people who get taxis and buses every night to the clubs in Ibiza Town etc it's no comparison
 
yeah thats true i suppose!
its just on some sites people are sayin it takes about an hour to walk to San An, which is a lot different from what you said!

It could be an hour :( the bay is a big place unfortunatly but there will be plenty of means of transport to get you into San An.

This give you an idea of the area - just hop in a taxi or get the bus. Last year we stayed in Cala Gracio on the other side of San An and it took us 35mins to get to Plastik / Bar M and it was nice walking back after a heavy night.
 
the bus to san an stops more or less outside the zodiac apartments. i'm sagittarius with armani rising - and you?
 
Oh thats good then, I read a review on another site that said it was near impossible to get a taxi in or out from there.....i know you will get whingebags whereever you go but as this is my first holiday with my boyfriend i dont want it to be a nightmare!
however i dont think this will be a problem as we are both like minded fun addicts and ibiza seems to be the place to go!
do you know anything about what the zodiac is like to stay in?

Stayed at the Klippe in 2003 which is right by the Zodiac, and i have to say i really enjoyed the walk to and from san an every night.
It's about 25 minutes to the west end and 20 to bar m and itaca etc...
 
Dont worry

Stayed in Zodiac before. Its grand spot. Mostly Irish I would say however.

Its about half hour(20 mins walking decent speed) walk to Eden and Es Par. Its nice to be a little bit away from the crazy-ness of San an from time to time.

The building is kinda in 2 parts, a new part and an old part. The old part could do with a bit of work but as said above, you wont spend too long there anyway.
