I'm skipping gym and going straight to the off license.

Don't forget Sunday's gonna be a SCORCHER so enjoy it, it may be our last opportunity before the apocalypse.

We've got a three day weekend. 8) :D
Ah, Labor Day... I used to throw a big cookout for all my friends on Labor Day back in DC. I quite enjoyed that.

I shall be doing much grilling this weekend... 8) not that I don't every weekend. ;) :D

And you drew, I HAD to start on the brandy this evening after hearing from Paul, telling me the SL was a right off, I'm still getting over the shock

apologies, reading that back that seems really shallow after the past few days of events. Its only a car afterall

Don't worry, Leese. I was all in a huff today because our cafeteria lunch menu was crap. Decided to go out for sushi but printed out some Beslan and Katrina stories to read... probably a bad idea for lunchtime reading!

I felt pretty guilty about it all walking back to the office... here I am, living abroad, living a comparatively pampered life. I decided right then and there I definitely wouldn't go meet up with Mark Sun in Riga (I'd been on the fence about the idea) and would instead give some of the money I would have spent to the Red Cross. Every little bit helps, right?

Now, I'm getting ready to go out to a nightclub. Life goes on. Have a brandy for me and my melancholy, and I'll raise my next beer for your car ;)

smallest things seem huge to us at the time hey  then we stop and think!

well done for your decision, every little does help no matter what situation.

I shall have raise a brandy for those who are not as fortunate as me, and I shall be remembering just how lucky I am.

Have a good night tonight Morbyd, and thanks again for your help today :P

got a call from Paul on Friday just before I was leaving work saying he'd had an accident. Turns out he went into the back of someone, the traffic on the motorway came to a sudden halt, and Paul went into the truck in front of him, ended up underneath it actually, and he had a tow bar on it too, so the SL is just crushed! I wasn't with him, and he's fine, although he was a little shaken up, understandable.

But as one of our mates said, we can get another car, we cant get another greeny :)

Its weird cos we were only talking about getting rid of it last week, well thats sorted now isnt it

And to top it off, the insurance have offered Paul a smart car, like he's going to fit in that
