Has anyone stayed in the Club Maritim in the bay?

We had booked another hotel and they have told us 3 DAYS before we go that we are being moved to the Maritim instead.
I have read the reviews on Tripadvisor but wanted some oppinions from here. Any help would be appreciated as i've heard some very bad things about this place .The staff stealing from the rooms is the main one I have heard.8O
