I stayed at the Pacific last july, its a great place to stay, right near the san antonio bay bars e.g. Bar M, Itaca (about 2 minutes walk away) and about 5 minutes walk away from the west end.
Eden and Es Paradis are on your doorstep, literally 30 seconds walk from the hotel and the local shop is right outside the hotel by the main road.
The rooms are basic but if, like us, you dont plan to spend much time in them then it dosen't really matter.
They have security to calm the yobs down and to stop people from entering the building who dont actually stay there, unless they are entering with somebody who does has a room.
All round its a great place to stay just for the convienience factor of having everything near you
