Carl Cox played a bad set?

I never have. Thinking about it i've heard and often heard people say that loads of other big name DJ's like oakie, morillo,Morales,tiesto,pvd,MAW etc have played a bad set or not been as good as usual but i've never heard coxy play anything but a blinder.
 
And on Fri at GK, he da man 8)

Apparently he was fantastic at the Arches in Glasgow on saturday night too, along with Michael de hey.
 
I heard a not particularly good set on the Essential Mix from South Africa in 97, but that's the only one. And because he was in a dodgy part of the area Carl had to have a few minders to look after him!!!!! Have you seen Carl, he'd scare the **** out of me if he dressed like Ronald McDonald!
 
I've seen @ Space a couple of times on the terrace when it used to be Home @ Space and he didn't do it for me :?
 
I saw him at Tunrmills and the music cut out a few times although he did get on the mic and say it wasn't his fault but I didn't particularly enjoy the night anyway. Might have had something to do with it being ridicilously hot and turnmills being rammed to the rafters

there are loads of posts about it on the colours board and everyone loved it!! (sorry!)
 
actually, last year inside space he wasnt as good, he was still good, played some superb tracks, mixed up techno and house but personally i think it lacked the turntablist element that he is capable of pulling off, that made his set slightly dissapointing.

I wouldnt have thought he was a trerrace kinda guy/dj :? MInd you i got his full sets from his last space party in 2003 and he was reallly good on the terrace, full on house :?
 
i have seen Carl Cox play a few times now... here & in London & he has rocked the joint EVERY single time.

what i dig the most about Cox is that he doesn't pigeonhole himself in2 playing soley one genre of sound & he entertains the crowd as he gets off on his own music 8) which is all WAY TO COOL FOR SCHOOL!!!! 8)
ohhh yeah & he's not bad technically either.... ;) :twisted:

cant wait to suss him play in ibiza this year....
