Ratpack and Slipmatt drop a few new / old tunes in their sets, must say i quite like them, i just still prefer the old tracks as they fire off memories for me!

Cheers

hardcore has laid down a base to all the housey technoy beats we hear today samples and everything, the original hardcore sound should be respected, every time i here a good old hardcore tune it just sends shivers down my spine i.e. (dj excel just when you thought it was safe)... those acid bleeps just keeps me smileing..:D

I've every respect for Slipmatt as he is still playing out various different styles but the Ratpack churn out the same old skool anthems all the time and it's become repititive and boring, there are far better underground Hardcore DJ's/Producers around, check these websites if ya don't know them already.:)

PS- it's cool to correspond to others into classic old skool, i thought i was the only one on this forum.:)

I agree on the ratpack but i'd seen them the week before at Global and they did the same set that they'd been doing for years, just that in the moment it was perfect.... Baby D weren't bad either.....

And yes those site are most definitely in my favourites.....

I still love discovering tracks i didn't know back then....!

Cheers
