Ok we are off to Ibiza for a long weekend of clubbing , relaxing and chilling, but we only plan to take hand luggage, what are your expriences of buying toiletries such as brand name deodorant, hair gel etc when your in IBIZA, i rekon it will be ok but my mate is banging on about checking luggage in! our luggage is small and light enough to go as hand luggage so do we take the gamble?

i would just take a very small case keeping your stuff neat and tidy.no need to buy any stuff then .just take enough to last the week end in small bottles (then throw away),saving money as well.why waste 40 kgs 20 each you can have.that way you can bring a few things back with you.ie gafs bottles of wine ect.... one of those cabin cases would do you both..

i would not like to see my stuff creased up in a bag.
plus saving you time having to shop for toiletries

Don't Shop

Absolutely agree with Woodruffe here, wouldn't dream of wasting valuable holiday time shopping for particular brand names, many of which you WILL NOT find in Ibiza. Contrary to what has been stated on this thread not all brands are available on the island.
We also collect all our mini bottles in between holidays and fill them up with smaller amounts of shampoos etc. and find that these are perfect amounts to last us through our hols....Then you can throw them away and use the suitcase space for drink you want to bring back.

As a frequent shorthaul traveller you're making yourself an easy target for overzealous security guards at the airport. Exepct your hand baggage to be picked over with a fine toothcomb if you take liquids onto a flight. Also don't forget you need to supply Advanced Passenger Information before you arrive at the airport or you'll be going nowhere.
