Hacienda Na Xamena - Cascadas Suspendidas

Any of you spotlight readers had the oppurtunity to visit this hotel and try out the Cascadas Suspendidas? Any info would be appreciated.

I go up there at least once a year and have stayed in the past, however haven't used the spa pools. It's a dramatic spot ... but ...

Service last year was atrocious (well over 1/2 an hour and several reminders to get a drink by the pool in the daytime) and if the wind gets up it can be quite blowy as you are on a cliffside. The place does feel a bit 'dozey' at times but the location is amazing.

the location of the place is amazing and the hotel itself is really nice. i haven't done the cascadas yet, but i know you can do it even if you're not a hotel guest. they're offering packages with either just a snack, proper dinner or then with one hotel night.

Can you tell more about the day packages? i looked at this for a wedding venue, it's so beautiful. But I do have a fear of heights. I'd like to check it out first to see if I could cope with it 8O:lol:

So do you go to the pool and that comes in with the price of whatever meal you choose? sorry but that page isn't very explanatory and I didn't know anything about spas and pools until I read this thread! The picture on that link looks divine :)

when i was there (just a few days ago) they told me it's like a 45mins programme where you can check out the pools. they are proper jaccuzzis so i guess you chill there for a while and then have snacks / lunch / dinner afterwards, as the page says.
