Going on holiday to Ibiza on you're own is a experience most would never do , I met some of my closest mates when I did a season on my own .

With a group I always find you have to go to certain places cos somebody whats to , and they usually end up being shit .

I once out 2 friends to bed at 01:30 after a heavy night in the west end. ( their 1st time in Ibiza) and headed to amnesia alone. First time i'd ever clubbed alone. 2014 if iirc. It was radio 1 week and amnesia was absolutely stuffed.
It was one of my best night ever. Ended up meeting a group from back home that i didnt know who came bk to my apartment to while away the early morning hours chomping on cheeks and talking shit.
Still in contact with these guys:lol:
Typical night in Ibiza, unplanned and partying with new random friends.

Going solo last year was the one of the best decisions I've made, and that's why I'm doing it again this year for the first half of my Ibiza trip, making new friends along the way is the best part, you can meet someone who lives on the other side of the globe who also loves bringing good vibes and enjoying good tunes, it reminds you that everything isn't wrong in this world.

Yes! Aug18th - Sept 2nd, I was trying to stay a bit longer but wasn't able to get the extended time off from work, I will pm you my WhatsApp # if your down to meet up at some point.

I think going solo the worrying part is when your not there you worry about how you are going to get on, once you are there its a different story you just do your own thing and the worry goes out the window? Never done it myself....for that reason of worry :lol:

Well my mrs and I are booked 4 nights this year as usual. I've gone to Ibiza well over 20 times in the last 20 plus years with her or friends back in the 90's. Unfortunately Mrs LBS' mum is very ill so we have lost most of our childcare. So now I'm going out alone for the first two days and she is joining me for the last two. Quite intrigued I must say. Just wondering if the police give more attention to solo travellers at night and how to avoid the tricks played by the ladies of the night.

Don't know about the police but good.bar owners will keep an eye out for soloists being followed by lurkers, they know everyone of.them that work.areas,so if your on one and some random bloke is calling you into his bar there's a good chance your being followed or.watched....:)

Never gone completely solo, I've hone out on my own to stay with friends who were doing the season, but also ended up going out on my own a lot as they worked, I ended up making a few friends and met them most nights to go out.

One thing I've found with groups is the recovery time after a night out, I don't really need to lay in bed all day after a heavy night, I'd much rather get up and get out the apartment, I've wasted whole mornings/afternoons moping around the apartment waiting for people to get motivated and get out..

1 thing I've enjoyed about clubbing on my own in Ibiza is you are your own boss, you can stay right til the very end and not have someone saying they are tired!

Cheers. Despite all my experience of Ibiza I've never considered it from a soloist perspective until I've been forced to (now). It's raising all sorts of questions I never thought I'd be have to contemplate

Been solo for a few years. Love it, doing what you want when you want. If you can't be bothered one night, no one pushing you out if you're not in the mood, if you change your mind about where you want to go, no one to object. One thing I miss when solo though is eating out. Don't like being in a restaurant on my own, so tend to just snack in bars most of the time. Small price to pay for total freedom. Although others may say I'm missing a lot given Ibiza has so many great places to eat.

I also find going to the same bars helps getting to meet people. Tipping well helps too and the service is always really good once you're seen coming back, and the odd free drink or longer pour in a lot of places. I guess that goes for anyone, not just soloists.

Did take a break one year and went solo elsewhere and didn't really enjoy that. just seems to be Ibiza that works for me on my own. More laid back and people more willing to talk away and include you in their group.
