Groove Armada....

Have always liked groove armada but never really listened to much of there stuff. Had a really cool chilled out BBQ with friends the other day and they had on a live G.A set and it was so fitting to the evening, sensational music just blew me away.
Is anyone fans?
Would really appreciate it if someone could reccomend an album?

I have their Best-Of CD that came out last October... it is really great. I heard they are sick live too! :D

gotta see em live. They do all the fezzy's

I have the best of CD too. I saw them live in Glasgow in December. It was one of th best gigs I have ever been to 8)

I think they are on the main stage at Creamfields this year.

Love their music. Haven't seen them play live but have seen DJ a few times. The tall one is good but the little one played the terrace last summer for the closing of WLS and I thought he was very average. Just played loads of obvious tunes and Superstylin' about 3 times *Yawn*

^ @ Tall one, little one

I love GA, both dj'ing and live as a band. Although they tend to play the same tunes every time they have a dj gig...

I love em, got that CD with Mixmag too, really really good. At Space last year they blew me away when they played chicken lips, lovin their work 8) 8)

You going again in sept?? would be good to see you again, Joeys coming with me this year too and he now embraces the 8O so it will be fun ;)

Yeah saw Joey had taken the next step  :P We plan to go in September to, so will definitely meet up :P

The more 8O 8O the better eh?....you were just being too sensible last year, I'll be looking for a 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O Kerry ;)

very very dissapointed by their dj sets, but their productions are second to none.

Not to impressed with space having them as rezzies this year.

love 'em or hate 'em - it won't change the fact they blew the roof off of Space terrace last August when i was there!

Lovebox is a great album with a typical GA mix of styles. They're a must-see live -- Brixton Academy a couple of years ago on the Lovebox tour was simply awesome. :D
