Fifth visit to my favourite place on earth, was previously here 2010, 2009, 2002 and 1999.
So much feels different, yet at the same time feels so familiar, don't think I'll ever tire of coming here... Even as I stare down the barrel of my 40th birthday.
One quick question... Whats happened to Artists square? There were only two standing tonight (Sat 29th), is it just because it's late in the season or is this the norm now? Was hoping to get a picture of our friends done as a caricature by Dani, but he's not there... Does anyone know if he's still on the island doing his thing (oldish fella, goatee beard)
Sorry to say we're in completely the wrong place this time... My first three stays were in San An the third of which was my wife's first stay. She wasn't keen on the San An vibe (She's never been much of a package holiday kinda gal, having previously been a cruiser or far east), so fourth stay was in PDB, but that didn't feel right to me.
The only way I could get her back to the island was if we stayed somewhere more 'family' orientated... So we're in Cala Llonga, in the Sirenis 'resort'. It's the first holiday I've ever been on where I'm considering early flights home... It's like being trapped in an advert for Saga!
