Grandmaster Flash???????

What can I expect from him at Space on July 4th?? Maybe I'm not in the know, but his name surprised me.
 
he's playing in the new room upstairs (VIP?) where the bar above the dark room used to be.

From what i remember that others have said, it'll prob be a party set, very mixed, mainly housey but quite a bit of the old hip-hop rubbish that the kids love so much :evil:
 
I've seen "Scratch" and he's quite some legend! So, I'm curious what he will bring on! I don't mind the oldskool hip hop actually! It's fresh.

The kids nowadays only listen to 'gangstah' hip hop. Which is not Flash's style, I hope!

im suprised he is playing @ space, but i luv old skool hip hop so im not gonna moan :P
 
yeah i noticed he is at the we love space party on September 5th as well.

its my only sunday on the island, so I"ll def. be going.. but not to sure about hip hop? :? :?

anyone knows what kind of stuff he will be playing at a club like this?
 
If you're curious you can always check him out and when you don't like him, go back to the terras or the discoteca and party on. :D
 
Ive seen him live up at club nations in DC, USA and it wasnt that great. Just saw him just talking on the mic and all. nothing to fancy. I think i could of done it!

hey i listen 2 "gangstah" hiphop and old skool. not jus the 1. its all gd!
 
I've seen him live, he's probably the most skilled scratcher I've ever seen. Blew my socks off.
 
If he's only playing the VIP room, your average punter wont get to see him? Please tell me dat aint so![/img][/url][/code][/list][/list]

Funny story; my girlfriend is a music teacher in New York. She was really looking forward to seing Grandmaster -- when we didn´t see him she asked Pepe (Space Owner) where is Grandmaster flash. He smiled and said 'Flash - who´s that' we said Grandmaster Flash. He told us to check the DJ sheet at the front desk and sure enough it listed all the D.J´s and their set times, but Grandmaster was not on the list :(
