I zoomed right in and now I know where my Logical Mind went when it flew off to join the Neon Fairies during a particularly random night at the Manchester Hacienda in approx 1988.

Yes Wallace ;)

It is quite nice that today, on the 36th anniversary of mankinds greatest achievement there is a beautiful full moon in clear skies :) when it rose above the horizon half an hour or so ago it looked amazing with the naked eye and even better with magnification. It's not quite so good now but still a lovely sight to behold, so if you can go and have a look :)

It's also quite sad on reflection that 36 years ago there were for a few years regular manned rockets sent to the moon, all returning safely (ok so 13 was a narrow escape) while today they're struggling to even send the shuttle to low earth orbit and can't be sure that it will retutn safely :(

;) awwwww wuv wu miss jinx x

Tonights reminded me though how lucky i am to be able to see so many amazing sunrises, sunsets, and the stars/moon from where i live (as i'm far above all the surrrounding houses, and i pull the wires out of the streetlamps below to reduce light pollution) :D 8) I'll be sad when i move and lose all that :(

Those are priceless precious moments in time to savour away from the rat-race.

Have you decided when & where you are off to vagabond?

[conspiracy] if they're actually there!!! [/conspiracy]

I wonder why they always go for the same area, although the moon is pretty diff to earth we have a massive change in climate between poles so I wonder if there is somethin similar with the moon....?
