Good London Bars

Hello there,
Any idea where you'd find up for it, lively central london bars, not necessarily belting out tunes, but with a good friendly up for it crowd...sort of the style of Temple Bar in Dub, if any of ye have been....
much appreciated.. is soho the best option, or is it too sleazy?

Soho is fine mate.

Try Covent Garden or for the less touristy experience, Farringdon for good lively bars. Try clerkenwell road!

Some bars in Soho are good but they're premominantly the gay bars, the rest of them are a bit meat-market-ified. There's way better bars away from the West End like round Shoreditch or Hoxton.
 
Jaysuus,,, thanks for all those suggestions.....will try and manage a pint in each one.....might need some assistance!
