Good crowd + music + reasonably priced drinks?

Just returned from my 4th trip to the island and still left wondering... is there anywhere that has good music, a good crowd AND reasonably priced drinks?

We hit dc10 on the monday. Ok crowd.. brill tunes... playboy prices.

Avoided the west end but from what i can remember the prices were reasonable, however, the music's pap and the vibe not always that great.

Is there anywhere in between? Does such a thing exist? how many times has this question done the rounds :)

I know some say get on it before you hit the clubs if you can't afford the prices, but it feels a bit plastic... or do you just rinse the plastic and worry about it later? :)

Like your style Craig :) step it up with a pedalo and some nuts n olives and rock up alongside the 100 mill yachts :)

A vodka&redbull @ beachouse was 19€ on sunday but there was a queue at the bar...if you hit a free party don't expect low prices...amnesia 13€ a beer on monday but tkt was 45€...bar was desert....

We`ve been doing it since 1997. I remember first time buying plastic champagne flutes in spar near bora bora and sitting on beach with cheap bottles of Cava flowing all day, good music and friends...Havin been to a club since..

@ craig yeah have to say the highlight this time was sitting on the beach with a bottle of rioja, plastic beakers and bongos in the background...

@Rometta did they want tipping too? :)

God damn...what with the piss take drink prices and the rubbish music everyone seems to be playing im beginning to wonder. Right, i say we all get together, supermarket booze and grub, rock up to Bora Bora and have our own VIP area..

For crying out loud .... 30%+ hike in these "beach club" drink prices in 2 years. It's Ushuaia which has set the bar for all this. I remember up at Aura away from Bossa you could get a proper mixer drink for well under 10 Euros. Sadly now departed.

It's no wonder the Spanish use someone's car boot as a mobile bar with a cooler box just down the road from those Bossa venues and then all nip back to drink now and again. Running up a 100Euro bar tab at a pre-party for a few vodka redbulls is just plain ridiculous.

I bet it's not 13Euros for a beer at Las Dalias !!!!!!!!!

i think it was 5€... really tasty food btw!

Really disappointed we didnt go to this after dinner at Amante last thursday, it sounds great. The gf was too tired! Let us know how it goes Phil

wish we'd have spotted that earlier @McRackin

after the assholes in dc10 and being refused any more reasonably priced wine after our meal in km5 and forced to buy more from the bar where it was twice the price, we vowed to swerve any more of the established venues for the remainder of our holiday and stick to the spar's :)

thats ludicrious particularly given the food isnt particularly cheap either...I always think Underground is great value, reasonably prices drinks given free entry and generally good crowd
