Hello everyone - I am planning a trip to Ibiza in June of 2007. Can someone please tell me where the best place to stay would be? I am looking for the best beaches in Ibiza and a good nightlife.

Thank you in advance :p

For good nightlife either stay in san antonio, ibiza town or playa d'en bossa. not sure what beaches you like but if you stay in san antonio then you are fairly near to small beaches such as cala bassa and cala canta. whereas playa d'en bossa has a huge beach as well as smaller beaches a few miles away in the south

What do you know about Talamanca? Are the beaches nice there? I am more interested in a quite vacation.

Thanks:lol:

I'm afraid i don't know much about talamanca. although i imagine it's quiter and a more family orientated area, i think it's also near cala longa beach which is meant to be good

How did you like it? Would you go back? How were the beaches? How far is it to Ibiza Town?

It's about 2 miles from Ibiza Town, so can either walk to it or take a bus or taxi. the main beach is good but rather busy in the afternoon. resort i thought was great, plenty of bars and shops. and yes i'm going back next july

which hotel did you stay at? How long with it take to get to San An from playa d'en bossa?

Thanks again

IMO if you want a quiet(ish) holiday, with nice restaurants, beach and close to Ibiza town stay at Talamanca.
We nearly always stay in this area, it's much nicer than the other side of Ibiza town (PDB/figuetes) IMO. 8)

Talamanca feels more Spanish less British than San An, depends what sort of hol you like.
We normally rent private apartments but have stayed at hostal Talamanca (cheap, clean and right on the beach) Rocamar which was nice but we had a wallet go missing, and hotel Argos which was nice.
There are lots and lots of private apartments in the area have a look on www.holiday-rentals.co.uk

just booked the argos for our 2nd week! Some £600 cheaper than on this site... sort it out Spotlight Why the big difference in price booking on here?
