Going to Cocoon@Amnesia for first time on monday-advice needed!

It will be my second time ive been to Ibiza have been well into minimal/electro/tech house since i came back last year!
So going to be going to Cocoon@ Amnesia for the first time (Went to Cream last year).

Would just like to know what the atmosphere, crowd is like etc. I imagine a lot of german/italian/spanish going to this am i right? I am english and 20.

Well, there was an American, a Russian, a Swiss and a Brit in my group when I went there last month :lol:

I thought the atmosphere was quite good. There were some areas where, if you stopped to stand/dance, you were in a bit of a transit zone. However, in general, people were into the music and Sven is a showman. We had a great night.
 
I don't actually know what the breakdown of nationalities at Cocoon would be.. too busy enjoying myself ... I know there was at least one Canadian there!

It's a German night but stacks of Spaniards and locals go too.

A few freaks but the British beer boy contingent is lower than Space on a Sunday (even if the crowd as a whole isn't quite as good).
 
It was my first time there the other week and it was brilliant.

The terrace was minimal, but the main room was far from it. Proper hands in the air melodic tracks. 8)

biggest tip of all sneak a quarter bottle of vodka down your sock and enjoy the tunes mate 8) 8)

Get an early space on the raised platform bits under the dj booth (and to the right) and watch Sven get more sh*tfaced than you !

I recall you posting on here before you first went to Cocoon, saying you weren't sure if you would like it and myself and others told you to give it a go and how great it was...now you're in love with it yourself! Just goes to show the importance of giving things a go.

Can't wait to be there a week on Monday with Steve Bug, Matthew Jonson and Ame. 8O :D
 
I went last week...ah last week the memories (or lack of) anyway before I ramble on

I had exactly the same dilemma a few weeks ago and got the same very positive response from this board.

At the end of the day Im glad I went because although It was def not my best night on the Island it was still awesome and capped a great day off.

If you can do both DC-10 and Cocoon you will have had a days clubbing that will be near impossible to beat I reckon
