Going it alone - ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE :-)

Hi Guys,

I've seen similar posts to this dotted over the forum but I'd thought I'd start my own.....

I'm seriously debating coming to Ibiza in August on my own as a lot of my mates of my age have sadly settled down and my younger friends are still in Ayia Napa/Magaluf zone...

I had decided to maybe leave it this year but I've been four times previously, last time in 2013 and I can't miss another year. So I'm going to just go for it and book 5 days in August.

My questions are these:

Where would you advise staying? I've done San An each time I've been there but PDB seems to have a really cool vibe as well?

I've seen on similar threads that people have organised meet ups with other solo travellers? How has that gone for others?

I think I'll be fine at night (ironically my best night the last time I went, was when my mates bailed out on the first night and I went to Cream alone......met loads of cool people and got home at 930am) but what about during the day......any recommendations?

I have ended up on my own during the day sometimes when the Mrs has been recovering. Ended up having a few beers in Itaca most times and always get chatting to someone. Suppose it depends how sociable you are?

When clubbing you always make loads of friends so nights won't be a problem. Go for it!
