Going back next year

Well just got back from the most amazing hectic week of me life. First off it was my first time in Ibiza, and as a place is lovely and is brilliant how it blends from old historic towns, into happening streets filled with people out on the booze. Went with 4 mates and met so many top people out there as well.

Wednesday - Arrived at the Bay, stayed at Ses Savines which was ok ish for the price and was right on the beach. Had a few san migs then got ready a bit later on and had a few down the chav fest pub that is Linekers  went over to D'en Bossa on some package deal we got and got a load of free drinks. (the package wasn't worth it at all and wouldn't recommend it). Went to Meganite after didn't feel the music at all, and didn't research that it was minimal Tech all night long  don't mind it, but bores me if I listen for ages.

Thursday - Went and had a few drinks at the top of the west end with a couple I met the night before, I decided I was gonna stay sober for Cream as it was the night I went out for and TBH, it was the most amazing night of me life, better than sex  Micheal Burian was amazing and energetic as a kid with ADHD on whizz, Corsten dropped some good stuff as well. But for all the people that said PVD was a bit cheesy etc I have to disagre, he was awesome, best set I've ever heard live and really do think I could go clubbing a long time to hear something better. The Ice Cannon was excellent, just what you need when you're about to sweat to death. Saw him getting in his motor after and he drove past the bus which was a nice touch at half 7 in the morning :)

Friday - Tried to recover during the day and went to Eden for Wonderland, don't remember too much but Japanese Popstars were pretty cool and did a good set IMO. went back about 4.30 ish as I was dead on me feet.

Saturday - Got drunk in the day and went to Zoo project, was a right laugh and seemed strange dancing about in an abandoned zoo, really enjoyed it. Couldn't be arsed with clubbing after as none of the nights took me fancy. Watched the world go by down the bay and had a early one, about 3ish in the end.

Sunday - We all went over to Bora Bora before Space, but was a bit **** as I had a gammy stomach so wasted money on some chicken then a kebab, both came back up again so I was on water all night :( Still really enjoyed Bora Bora but I thought We Love Space was so over-rated it's untrue. Didn't particularly like the music, but the main room was **** hot and made myself more ill from jumping about  (more into me trance, but like most dance music) and it was packed, much worse than Cream and a lot hotter.

Monday - Wen't out down Kanya and had some grub during the day, was really nice and recommend to anyone. Saw Tiesto at privilege but it was absolutley rammo'd and was like a sweat box, blarred out some right cheese, but he was good and had a quality bounce around.

Tuesday - Went to watch the sunset near MAmbo, then Chavved it up and got hammered down the west end & had a subway . We were going to either have an early one or stay local as we had to be out hotel at 8 next morning. But we met some top notch scousers and ended up in Pacha, quite upset as I really wanted to go Armada and the Housey vibe wasn't really my thing. Still had a good dance though and got couple of hours kip before we left next day.

Cheers to anyone who could be arsed to read all that. Food was A1 in and out the hotel and most the people are well sound, you get quite a few dick head chavs but all in all a brilliant holiday and will be going back for sure. Only two gripes, I got a bit ill, sick and coughing alot, and I had me step-dad's camrea pinched by a baggage handler on the way over, so have FA pics.

Apart from that it was pure class and the sunset is amazing as well. As far as money goes I took 600 Euro and got another 400 out when I was out there.

Nice review mate. Don't you remember anything else about Wonderland, people, music, atmos, considering giving it ago in a couple of weeks. Any views welcome.

Don't get me wrong mate Tiesto was amazing, just played a remix of Lovestoned by Timberlake, and chasing cars by Snow PAtrol

Still played some good stuff and really like it just preffered PVD. Will defo go Armada next year, cheers mate

Now u come to mention it he did play that timberlake one when i was there, theres nowt wrong with bangin a bit of commercial in now an agen (i suppose)HA. But like u say PVD and Armin are much better and theres no risk of hearin bootlegs of pop songs with them!!

In fairness there was White Stripes and Foo Fighters. But they wern't remixed in a kiss FM way hahaha and they aren't as mainstream as the ones Tiesto did.

TBF I'd go back to PVD and Tiesto both amazing nights

Just to edit one other small thing that got on me nerves was the amount of nobs chanting on the dancefloor. I thought the pathetic wott woot and woo there it is were firmly left back in sunny England! Did me head in when a bangin tune gets ruined by a load of pissed up uni boys :(

Ay, im totally in agreement with ya there mate, theres no need for chantin stupid **** on the dancefloor!!that here we,here we, here we f****n go chant really gets on my nerves,!!the dancefloor should be kept reserved for whistlin and clappin and obv dancin!!NOT CHANTIN!!

The chanting on the disco buses was the worst though. I love footy as much as the next bloke and happily chant for me team, in pubs in ENGLAND, or at grounds in ENGLAND. Singing South London na na na na on the bus makes you look like a right ****. No wonder Brits abroad are hated

Unlucky, i was never unfortunate enough to hear chants on the disco busses, that really wudda drove me over the edge tho, theres just no need or it, i dont think they realise they just look and sound like f****n chavvy brits, some of us just rnt like that, drives me friggin mad.

I had the unfortunateness of listening to English footie songs being chanted on the discobus, I was certainly embarrased to be English at that point.

It's not just the brits who are guilty of chanting on the disco buses- If youv'e ever had to listen to ''Hey Mambo, Mambo Italiano'' and The White Stripes '' Po Po Po Po Po Po Po'' you'll know what I mean!

The Italian's are officailly the WORST chanters in the world, PERIOD! They've destroyed one of my favourite sings EVER! 7 Nation Army is now a fu(king footie song that they sing to annoy everyone at every opportunty! You should hear them in Space @ Carl Cox! Then when coxy played it, they got in a mood about it and didn't sing along or anything?!?! Whats that about? LOL D!(kheads!
