Going back after 5 years got a few questions

Returning to the white isle again last time (only 6 days to go1 :) )I was there was 5 years ago in 2000 so things have probably changed a fair bit but have decided to go back for the a few of the closing parties something I fancied doing for years.

A few questions whats the weather like end of september 19th-27th? Is it still warm enough to wear a t-shirt 24 hours a day.

The Closing Parties we are intending to do are Manumission@Privelidge and Space.. Are the closing parties exceptionally busy should we get tickets in advance?

Not going 6 clubs in a week like we did last time! So looking to fit another club in midweek. As Manumission is on the Monday we arrived and Space is on out last night there on the Sunday.
Last time I went did Pacha twice, Amnesia, El Divinio as well as the aforementioned 2.

Definitly don’t want to El Divinio as I found it far to pretentious, not fussed about pacha either although was a lovely club just wasn't mad on the vibe..

Would consider Amnesia again but wouldn't mind trying something else.. Anyone got any reccomendations? Kind of stuff we're into is dirty electro break beats deep funky house.. If you get my drift ;) or prog house in the style of bedrock.

As we're only doing a couple of clubs and are there for sven nights, thought we'd do a few bars. Are the bars still lively this time of year? Bar M and Café del Mar etc still pretty expensive.

Any reccomendations of any others or good areas for bars that will be still busy this time of year..Staying in San Antonio but don't mind travelling about.

Any genral pointers much appreciated :)

Read the main Ibiza-Spotlight site and the Parties & Clubs section of the message boards for lots of recommendations on bars, clubs, etc. One of our resident Ibiza-gurus, McRackin, keeps various threads going on a lot of different interesting bars.

On the mid-week clubbing question, it kind of depends on what music you're into and what kind of party you want to see. For a fun party with atmosphere, I'd choose the La Troya closing at Amnesia on Wednesday. If you like trancey tunes, the Cream closing is on Thursday. For more funky house, you've got Defected closing on Tuesday and Subliminal on Wednesday.

weather - cooler during day but still v.hot, a lot cooler at night
should be ok for 24hr t-shirt (not the same one tho lol)

just got back sat myself mate first time back on the white isle for five years, its still as good as it was even better. make sure you go to DC10
its like space used to be like.space on the other hand is better than it was
take loads of £££ if you like a drink in clubs 7-14
8-9 euros down mambo -del mar
had a top week apart from cream which was $hite
looking to get back over for NYE I`ve got the ibiza bug back

definatly try underground, was the highlight for me and completely different to the usual clubs visited.

Yeah a couple of weekends ago i spent an evening searching the boards for as much info as i couild.. guess i missed a bit ;) Will search back again for the aforementioned threads :) As will probably spend 4 evenigns bar ing it, 6 clubs is too knackering a way too expesnive.. last time it got to the point i was too tired ot enjoy it... This time less is best so 3 max :)

La Troya sounds interesting alwyas up for a bit of a party atmosphere what sort of music is it?

Yeah try not to wear the same t-shirt for 24 hours but there have been occasions where i have been on montser clubbing session and have had to ... mings big style!

Last time i was at space was just about right busy but not cramped in away.. but still definitly want to go to that one.. thats our last night there.. not mad on it being cramped but i really like the look of the line up too. May hand our bags in at teh airport on the Sunday and spend monday down the beach at Bora Bora till our plane leaves.. Thats what we did last time .. Stayed at bora bora until 30 mins til check in.. cutting it fine ;)

Mate wouldn't to go to sublimimnal but i wasn't that mad on Pacha last time.. plus im calling the shots andits damned expensive in there :P

Can't remeber how much drinks were in the clubs last time as i barely bought one inside..

Can handle 8-10 euros same as drinking in some of the clubs in London 14 euros though is a little bit steep 8O Although wont going to lengths i did last time and smuggle a small bottle of vody into 2 of the clubs.. i was a lot less well off then :P

Heard a lot of talk about DC-10
