Godskitchen @ Privilege?

Heard another rumour, this time it's that Godskitchen will be making a return to Ibiza, every Wednesday at Privilige? Anyone know if there is anything in it?

I got knocked out in the 2nd round of the trials! Yeah, that was a great Summer, GK at Amnesia every Tuesday, still actually have my workers pass in with all my old flyers!
 
Would be awesome if it is true. But who on earth of the top trance DJs would play for them?
Don't Cream and Armada have the majority of those guys, now?

Unless they go for smaller names... which won't fill up priv.
 
I have one picture from that summer and not much else, including my marbles. Wips Vip section still makes me laugh, good times indeed.
 
Gods kitchen opening party in 1999 blew me away, even though you wouldn't catch me there now I still remember it to this day, my first experience of the ice cannon, Tall Paul, the large white sheet that covered everyone on the dancefloor, the 2 male dancers on stilts in white, the devil chasing an angel with a giant penis, amazing :D
 
Ive always been a Godskitchen fan, the last time for me in Ibiza was when it was at Eden...Dave Pearce :P I cant see them going up against Armin @ Space. They couldn't pull the numbers in surely?

If only it was true but for Tuesdays instead...
 
Well if Godskitchen do make a return, they may possibly go for the Sunday at Priviledge, as infected mushroom are on the cards for 2 nights on sunday at priviledge.... and they are psy-trance, and they are a big name.
- I reckon Godskitchen could bring in the numbers at Priviledge even if they are competing with Judgement/We love/Cadenza.
-We may see the likes of Sander van Doorn and possible Gareth Emery (unless he's an exclusive,) on weeks where they arn't playing for Be and Cream....
- But lets be honest, if Godskitchen can get the numbers, a good line up then it would probably be a great night

I heard that vicious rumor too,apparently its for 3 or 4 events,good luck to the GK guys in where ever they decide to fully go into in Ibiza
 
a little bird tells me they couldn't get any decent names to play for them, so it was just going to be a branded event with no good djs, and they are not doing it at all…..
 
A very good source (one of the big name DJs booked) told me recently that GK is going ahead as planned at Privilege... why there isn't an announcement yet I don't know. He thinks it's going to be one-off events instead of a weekly night.

Could this be on the Sunday with Infected Mushroom, as they are booked to play a couple of gigs at Privilege over the Summer??

GK in 2001 is one of my most memorable nights, Tiesto Warmed up, Picotto played the main set and Fergie finished off, all three smashed it, i left at 9.30am and it was still going off.

I still have the flyer, poster T-shirt and keyword from that night :)

Didnt they eventually leave though because of the aged old story of them not holding the rights to their name in spain so they had to pay the owner (im sure this was amnesia) if they wanted to host parties on Ibiza?

I can't imagine a time when Tiesto would of warned up for someone.

I'd love it if both Godskitchen and Gatecrasher came back to the Island.
Could amnesia not just host Godskitchen parties without the promoters, if they own the name?

Another night i went that year, Tiesto warmed up for John Kelly!!

Im not 100% certain Amnesia own the rights to the name but im sure its something along those lines. The same happened to Clockwork Orange and im sure Gatecrasher, it essentially meant clubs were held to ransom if they wanted to throw parties.

Clockwork Orange was another night that was talk of the town in its day, due to someone demanding money to use the name clockwork orange they did a summer using the name 'the orange summer of love' or something similar and then disappeared.

Shame when this all happened!!!!
CO also threw parties under another name of 'Together'. Think that was in 2000
