I know Spain are quite good with gluten free foods, but does anyone shop in the Lidl in San An ,that is coeliac and knows if they stock a lot of sin gluten food , thanks

I can't be 100% on this but think I've seen some pasta, bread, biscuits etc in there.
I know I've seen more range in Mercadona (up the hill a bit from Lidl), sorry can't be more specific, don't need to look for it, just the passing eye....

Hi, as one of our group arriving tomorrow is celiac, so definitely cannot eat gluten, I wanted to restart this thread and see which restaurant recommendations people had for gluten-free options in Ibiza Town and San Antonio.

The good lady in my life is Coeliac. We find Ibiza caters for GF really well. Often GF options are available but not on the menu, you just need to ask. GF bread and pasta and beer is readily available most places.
Her favourites below.

There will always be GF options and great knowledge everywhere you go, just ask for sin gluten 👍

Oli Beach (Figueretes) & Oli Port (Ibiza town) - amazing GF menu inc. tapas, beers, burgers, deserts and even have a fried squid sandwich. You have to go to Oli Beach it’s the better of the two even though it’s the same menu
Sa Cova, ibiza town - French restaurant, most of starters & mains GF
Locals Only, ibiza town - lush double cooked chips
Formentera, ibiza town - paella is naturally GF but this is a good one
Passion Cafes - across the island, great for brunch with GF bread

A couple of highlights were Project Social but it’s in Santa Eulalia! Most of the menu GF with good selection of GF beers.
And then Pikes Sunday lunch, they made special gravy and bread! Very accommodating

Thanks, @Tucker, this is perfect!

We had already booked for Pikes on Sunday and then I suddenly wondered what we'd do if she couldn't have anything to eat. But hats off to Pikes - Annabel was amazing on email and I'm really impressed by their options.

Assume somewhere like La Bodega wouldn't be an option?

I wouldn’t completely rule out La Bodega. Although the choice of dishes will be limited to those that are naturally GF.

We have eaten there and my Girlfriend was happy.
