I recently bought a few '2 for 1' GU albums from HMV.

1. GU13 - Sasha in Ibiza - Excellent
2. GU11 - Nick Warren in Budapest - Not so good
3. GU14 - Digweed in Hong Kong - Has its moments
4. Steve Lawler Lights out - Filthy, but I like it!! Much better than LO2

I'm going to grab some more b4 the sale ends..anyone got Dave Seamens or Tony de Vits??? Or any other recommendations??

Sasha - San Fran (Another one of my favourites!!!)

and the best of the best deep dish - moscow!!!!!---a classic!!! :P :P :P :lol:


the nubreed stuff is sweet - satashi tomeii and sander kleinenberg but may not be part of the sale....

ditto... both 1 and 2 are incredible.

cd 1 of dave seaman cape town is an absolute classic too.

get james holden's recent balance mix if you can - quality!

James holden - balance 005 is top of my list at the mo but I can't find it anywhere!!! I'm also after James Zabiela - Sound in motion..I've heard a lot about these two mixes..

Sounds like digweed LA will be next..(no Sander in the 2 4 1 unfortunately).

What GU would you recommend for the other?? I've heard the Deep Dish Toronto afterclub mixes are good.

the Oakenfold NYC GU cds are amazing, cool trance without getting too fast or hard...remind me of the summer of 98...that was my Ibiza CD that year
 
yesterday i picked up james lavelle in barcelona,good if your into breaks and deep dish moscow,good but not as good as there toronto mix.

good work m8.......for me the 'moscow' album still does it compared to 'toronto'.......mayb they getting a little bit 'tame' in their old age ;) ...although saw them at turnmills bout year ago..........they absolutely blew the house down.........thats when '7-nation army' was first dropped at a club(i think?).........it was chaos....... :P
 
m8...i was lucky enough to be there when they dropped 7-nat army......was super unexpected madness.........these boys are well respected as dj's.... 8) 8) ........and super taste in music too ;) ;)
 
i've had darren emerson's Uruguay mix for years now, and its still cool - what do you lot think about that one?
 
good stuff from emerson........some spanking choons....but never seems to get there......if you know what i mean.......he never gets really dirty ;)
