Glitterbox @Hi Dresscode for Guys

Hey, travelling from Australia this July/Aug to Europe and will be @ Glitterbox Sunday. Wondering what the dress code is for guys, I’ve seen a few sites (including Hi website) that says men must wear long pants. Is this a thing? Would I be okay in smart shorts? Realise it all depends on the security on the night, but what is the general go? Thanks in advance, wanted to clear this up rather than rock up and take a chance

Long pants is a requirement for VIP-only. You are fine to wear shorts if you just entering for general admission

I've been a few times and never had to wear long pants

You should be fine on smart shorts I think? (To be honest I've never seen Hi be strict on the smartness of shorts either)
