sorry mate - no such country, I am English and proud of it, so proud in fact that I had a lot of trouble getting a passport because every time I put English in Nationality, the form kept coming back.

I am British although I hate it how the Union Jack is adopted as the English national flag but that is another story!

sorry to be pedantic but the flag is the Union Flag - not "jack" which I believe is only used in a naval connotation - no doubt others can clarify
